We get many questions about Orderpicker platforms and if they are OSHA approved. First, OSHA doesn't approve products, that would be an endorsement. There are regulations and ANSI standards for elevating personnel, these platforms are not for elevating personnel, they simply hold product. If you think about it Orderpicking platforms are taking the place of a convential wood pallet (ever see a safety sticker on one?). Personnel on Orderpickers are to be tethered at all times, that is covered by the truck standards.
We endeavor to design platforms that mimic wood pallets for securing to the Orderpicker. Bases are built up to not create trip points, hence enhancing the safety in picking.
