Cost of Non Compliance

 According to BLR:

"The most recent figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that falls from heights are responsible for 1 in 3 construction worker deaths. And that's to say nothing of the many more devastating injuries from other kinds of falls. If preventing tragic accidents isn't enough motivation to work on fall prevention, there's always the cost: The cost of a fall is estimated at $40,000, and indirect costs can be 4 to 10 times that amount.

And don't forget citations. Standards for scaffolding, fall protection, and ladders are consistently in the top 10 most frequently cited standards, and they also top the list of standards for which OSHA has assessed the highest penalties. "

They certainly cite many good reasons to utilize equipment designed to meet OSHA standards like the maintenance platforms and orderpicking platforms found here at forklift-accessories.
