Heat resistance of woven nylon

In the case of nylon, which we use in Fork Sox, it is important to understand its limitations and take appropriate measures to enhance its longevity.

Nylon, a commonly used synthetic polymer, has a melting point ranging from approximately 485 to 505 degrees Fahrenheit. This means that when exposed to high temperatures, nylon can melt and lose its structural integrity. Additionally, nylon has an auto-ignition temperature of around 788 degrees Fahrenheit, which means it can ignite spontaneously when heated beyond this threshold.
