LTL Shipments

There are many rules governing truck shipments, some key points include:

• Delivery area must be accessible to the truck
• Areas other than standard loading docks should be discussed prior to booking
• Unloading and moving load is your responsibility (trucking companies don't require their drivers to unload shipments).
• Inspect all packages before signing (damages/shortages must be noted on BOL at time of delivery), retain a signed copy for your records.
