As previously explained, a 10% reduction in fork thickness results in a 20% reduction of rated capacity. A 20% thinning of the forks reduces the rated capacity below 70% of it's original capacity. 30% results in less than half. Annual fork inspection is a necessity to maintain a safe operation of the your forklift.
