I recommend a minimum fork length of 48" for the Akro-Mils forkliftable Akro-tilt trucks. This allows enough to engage the 2 yard unit (the largest). For the smaller units you may get away with shorter forks as follows:
½ Yard - 32"
1 Yard - 38"
1½ Yard - 46"
