The tip and overall thickness profile of our Poly Load Protectors starts with a 1/2" thickness at the tip and tapers back 10-12" to the full height of either 1.5" for the 4" & 5" fork size or 1.75" for the 6" fork with cover. This is not to say the covers will not fit on thicker forklift forks, since virtually all pallet forks include some taper on the bottom. Generally, standard taper forks will taper from a point at the tip along 1/3 the length of the usable fork length to the full thickness.
