Chamfered or radiused coil handling forks are used to move steel coils, reels, etc when straddling the load is desired. Other products, such as concrete pipes, can also be moved with this type of fork.

                                                     

A specific chamfer or radius size for the inside of the blades can be recommended. A custom radius can be applied if desired to reduce damage to the product. The top of the upright can also be rounded to reduce damage to the product. The chamfers / radiuses required to the inside edges of the blades will affect the lifting capacity of the forks.
